NMEA Weather station plugin

For NMEA plugin to work a valid Dewesoft license is required.

Number of Devices

Currently only one Weather Station Device is supported. This could be improved in future plugin versions for the protocols that allow several devices to be used (e.g. XDR, NMEA Extended).

Supported Interfaces

Currently only serial interface (RS232) in automatic mode is supported.

Harware Connection Settings

The following data can be configured in hardwaresetup:

• COM Port

• Baud Rate

The following settings are fixed:

• 1 stop bit

• 8 data bits

• parity: none

Supported Protocols/Queries

Currently the following Queries in NMEA 0183 v3.0 Protocol are supported:

1. MWV Wind Speed and Direction Query

• wind speed

• wind direction

2. XDR Transducer Measurement Query

• temperature: air / internal / heating

• wind direction (angular displacement): min / avg / max

• wind speed: min / avg / max

• pressure

• humidity

• precepitation: rain / hail

• intensity: rain / hail

• voltage: supply / heating / reference
